Photographing black obsidian glass bottles is one of the toughest challenges in commercial product photography. Every stray reflection reveals the room around it.
1. Light Scrims & Diffusion Grids
We used 6ft x 6ft diffusion scrims positioned inches from the bottle edges, creating subtle gradient highlights along the curved contours.
